Having grown up in the neighboring town of Damascus, MD, Dr. Herta Granado is thrilled to be coming back home and joining the Mt. Airy Children’s Dental Associates team. Dr. Granado was inspired to pursue a career in orthodontics after experiencing her own smile transformation as an adolescent, which allowed her to recognize how impactful a good smile can be on a person’s self-esteem. When treating patients, her primary goal is to create a fun and inviting atmosphere for every individual so that each visit feels like home. She is looking forward to helping each family achieve the smiles they deserve.
In her free time, Dr. Granado enjoys building puzzles, visiting new restaurants, taking long walks, and spending time with friends, family, and her rambunctious (but adorable) dachshund Charlie.
